My name’s Samantha and I’m a full time photographer here in Wilmington, NC! I’m originally from Long Island, NY, but I’ve been here 8 years now and this is definitely where I call home! I absolutely love the beach & living the coastal lifestyle. The sunrises & sunsets here are unforgettable and it’s where I love to do all of my sessions too! For down time, you can always catch me out on the boat or on one of the islands in the intracoastal! It’s where I feel I can truly embrace where we live & cherish this life I’ve been given! I'm married to the most amazing man and we have the most beautiful fur baby, Kingston. You'll see him a lot on all my social media posts. We're obsessed with him! He's the giant Doberman I can't get enough of. And in 2021 I became a mom to the sweetest baby boy ever & I couldn't be any luckier!

I’m an all natural light photographer and my heart goes absolutely crazy for golden hour no matter where we’re shooting! I also have an in home studio that’s all completely natural light! I believe the more natural something is, the better! I feel it allows people to just be who they are without feeling forced into an uncomfortable situation (with bright lights & stages). My passion is capturing maternity, newborns, babies, toddlers & families during their best & most unforgettable moments. And let’s not forget about pets, I consider them family too! I have my bachelors degree in visual communications, but my path went straight to photography. My love for capturing babies & toddlers is where it all started! I believe the challenge of getting them to break out of their shell and show their true personality was it for me. Just being able to capture who they really are is what I strive for every time! It makes my heart happy to preserve that time, because they’re constantly growing and changing right before your eyes! It's crazy and now I can finally relate.
There are just so many firsts in life, that’s what I want to capture! Especially the ones that are brand new, life changing and unforgettable. There’s just something so satisfying about freezing that special time in someone’s life and being able to let my clients relive them time and time again!
