My name’s Samantha and I’m a full time photographer here in Wilmington, NC! I’m originally from Long Island, NY, but I’ve been here for 14 years now and this is definitely where I call home! I absolutely love the beach & living the coastal lifestyle. The sunrises & sunsets here are unforgettable and it’s where I love to do all of my sessions too! In my down time, you can always catch me out on the boat or on one of the islands along the intracoastal! It’s where I feel I can truly embrace where we live & cherish this life I’ve been given! I'm married to the most amazing man and we have the best kids in the world - a 5 year old son & a 2 year old daughter! Plus our fur baby, Jethro! It's a busy home, but filled with lots of love and laughter!

I’m a natural light photographer and my heart goes absolutely crazy for golden hour no matter where we’re shooting! I also have a home studio on my property that’s all white and completely natural light! I believe the more natural something is, the better! I feel it allows people to show up authentically, just as they are, without feeling forced into an uncomfortable situation surrounded by bright lights or stages.
My passion is capturing maternity, newborns, babies, toddlers & families during their most unforgettable seasons & moments. And let’s not forget about pets, they're our family too!
I have my bachelors degree in visual communications, but my path went straight to photography. My love for capturing babies & toddlers is where it all started! The challenge of getting little ones to break out of their shell and show their true personality was just IT for me! Being able to capture who they really are & the people they are growing into is what I strive for every time! It makes my heart happy to preserve that unique time, because they’re constantly growing and changing! Right before your eyes! It's magic!
There are just so many firsts in life, and that’s what I want to capture! Especially the ones that are brand new, life changing and unforgettable. There’s just something so heart warming about pausing that special time in someone’s life, and my clients being able to relive them time & time again! Now as a mom, I realize how precious and fleeting these moments are more than ever!
